Construction managed as a complete project.
Bathroom remodeling for residential properties and commercial facilities. Home Doctor Construction coordinates scope, sequencing, appropriate trades, materials, inspections and finish work around the needs of the property.
One point of responsibility
Our role is to keep the project organized and moving—from the first planning conversation through completion.

Start with the existing bathroom
A bathroom remodel should account for room dimensions, ventilation, plumbing locations, existing finishes, and signs of moisture damage. These conditions influence the scope before new tile, fixtures, or cabinetry are ordered.
Showers, tile, and waterproofing
Shower projects require a coordinated approach to substrate preparation, waterproofing, drainage, and tile installation. The selected shower system and manufacturer instructions matter; attractive tile alone is not a substitute for a properly detailed waterproof assembly.
Fixtures, lighting, and ventilation
Vanities, toilets, shower fixtures, exhaust fans, and lighting should be selected with clearances and electrical or plumbing requirements in mind. Changes to fixture locations may require additional rough-in work.
Scope, allowances, and unexpected conditions
A written proposal should distinguish labor, supplied materials, owner-provided items, and allowances. Existing finishes sometimes conceal water damage or framing concerns; those conditions should be reviewed and documented before added work proceeds.
Frequently asked questions
Can a shower insert be replaced with tile?
Often, but the opening, drain location, waterproofing assembly, and wall conditions must be evaluated first.
Do bathroom renovations require permits?
Requirements depend on the jurisdiction and whether plumbing, electrical, structural, or other regulated work changes.
Can I supply my own vanity?
Owner-supplied items may be possible when dimensions, delivery timing, installation requirements, and responsibility are agreed upon in the scope.
